Las Vegas magnate Steve Wynn certainly has something to be thrilled about this holiday time. Investing close to $2.3 billion, the dazzling hotel and nightclub dubbed Encore will open this week.

This deluxe casino-hotel is attached to the very fashionable Wynn Vegas on the Sin City Strip. Whereas many Sin City casino-hotel investors are trying to find a direction to keep their hotel-casinos afloat, Wynn is flying high with his billion dollar hotel-casino investments.

The 2000 room hotel and casino has left nothing to the imagination. The big attraction of this hotel-casino will be the nightclub, XS. Steve has taken notice lately that nightclubs are hotspots in Vegas, and not necessarily the casinos like they have been in the past. Steve states that Las Vegas, Nevada nightclubs typically generate more riches and are a big attraction for the young and hip pack.

Wynn has also put up an over-the top steakhouse connected to the XS nightclub. The inspiration for the restaurant is the popular Colombian artist, Fernando Botero this circular steakhouse has a huge Botero figure as the main centerpiece. Not quite impressive as the nightclub which it is adjacent to; the Botero steakhouse is planned to match fairly well with the flamboyant Vegas nightclub.
The idea pertaining to XS and Botero is a sort of St. Tropez ambiance, where the partying goes on nonstop and the main part of the party goes down close to a swimming pool or beach-type setting. Times have definitely changed in Las Vegas, where many people fancy partying to slots right now.

After almost a entire year of no activity, the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s renowned volcano will be resurrected bigger and more extravagant than it has ever been. The legendary LV casino is trying really hard to invite as many sightseers as possible to take a look at their renovations.

This New Year’s Eve, the daredevil and stuntman Robbie Knievel will take a shot at a motorcycle leap over the Mirage Hotel’s artificial volcano. This feat will celebrate the conclusion of a 3-year restoration of the Las Vegas megaresort. Over this period, the Vegas hotel has spent about $110 million enhancing their rooms and suites.

The upcoming New Year’s Eve stunt is said to be Knievel’s last in the United States. The act will last for five mins. and include fireworks and a state of the art music recording. The music for the presentation has been composed by Mickey Hart formerly of the Grateful Dead. Robbie Knievel is the son of the late Evil Knievel-one of the world’s first and most famous daredevils.

The Las Vegas Mirage was opened in 1989 by Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn and was regarded as Las Vegas, Nevada’s 1st megaresort. This renovation is one of a handful on the LV Strip recently. This megaresort has hopes that this spectacle will invite a great number of visitors to the Sin City casino. The thought behind the overhaul is to beat other famous Las Vegas hotel and casinos like the Bellagio hotel.
