“Criss Angel BeLIEve” premiers in the Luxor Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada
One may think that a powerful mix of Criss Angel with Cirque du Soleil might be a union created in heaven, or in Criss Angel’s case, hell.
If you had the opportunity to be one of the many enthusiasts who have attended this innovative Las Vegas idea, called Criss Angel BeLIEve featured at the Luxor Hotel, then you may have a different opinion about this newest show. This brand new Las Vegas idea is really Cirque du Soleil’s sixth performance to run on the Sin City Strip.
The show initiates quite identical to Angel’s routine illusion shows, with a tinge of “Cirque”. Then all of a sudden an unsuccessful magic trick takes Angel into a Wizard of Oz-like fantasyland. You will see otherworldly rabbits dashing about around the stage, in conjunction with Angel’s usual magic tricks and illusions connected with Cirque du Soleil’s dramatic attraction. The production climaxes with Angel actually splitting himself in half, most likely the focal point of this idea.
One of the predicaments, that most enthusiasts have encountered with the event, is the point that the illusionist has lots of spoken pieces in the presentation. Criss Angel’s acting talents aren’t really his best ability, and this is not customary in any of Cirque’s other popular Las Vegas, Nevada productions.
The good outweighs the bad, though, in this fusion of Criss Angel with Cirque. Expect many fabulous stunts featured in the performance, and united with Cirque’s outstanding ability, the presentation does have its memorable and magnificent moments. The ticket sales do not lie, as this presentation is looking to be one of largest performances that Cirque du Soleil has had in Vegas.
”Cirque” which was started in Montreal, Canada combines this original initiative to their program of Las Vegas presentations. Cirque du Soleil’s other events include: “O” in the Bellagio Hotel Casino Las Vegas, Zumanity at the Zumanity Theater in the New York-New York hotel and casino, LOVE in The Mirage Casino Hotel, Ka in the Ka Theater in the MGM Grand Hotel, and Mystere in the Treasure Island Casino.
